2025 Edition edit: Things have changed a bit! I’ve been coming to Dogwood Barber for about three years now, and I’ve also brought my kids here for haircuts. Even shaved some sweet designs on my boys head! The team - Chris, Rylan, Trevor, and previously Wolf ✊🏼 - have all done awesome cuts. We’re always happy with the results, and I know that if there were ever any issues, they’d make it right. These guys are kid-friendly, patient, and reasonable. *Still first-come, first-served, so plan accordingly* And good news - it’s not cash-only anymore! Some of the barbers now accept tap payments through Square. Keep up the good work guys! Highly recommend. 👍🏼

Got a terrible haircut in town, should have waited and went to Dogwood Barbers the first time. Rylan has some real skills, fixed me completely two weeks after I was done dirty. Genuinely can’t say enough good things about these guys. I went into Dogwood Barber shop a couple years ago for a cut when I was in town. I got my first haircut in that same barber shop back when it was Pete Garat’s shop. The atmosphere has a dichotomic old school and new age feel. They have a fun modern goofy vibe around the shop, while still embodying the old school barber shop. A place where you can put your phone down and connect with the community of people around you. After a few haircuts from Chis (which were all amazing) I got a cut from Rylan. He’s incredibly meticulous and has an extraordinary attention to detail with his work. On top of this he’s also a great conversation and always brings out good laughs to all those in the shop. I always enjoy my time in the shop and have never walked away with a haircut that I was disappointed with. Chris runs an amazing business, and has a team of extremely talented, friendly, and genuine people who work for him. Rylan has been my barber for the better part of two years now, and I have no intentions of looking around.

These guys are a true gem!! My son got a botched hair cut somewhere else, it was aweful. Brought my son to Ryland and he saved my sons hair the best that was possible. We left happy and with a sigh of relief. The atmosphere was awesome and they are so funny. My son left so incredibly happy. We will never go anywhere else again. Can't wait to bring my son back!!
